What the Diamond Taxi Test Involves

The Diamond Advanced Taxi Test is a 45-minute driving assessment covering a mix of urban and rural roads, complex junctions, and common taxi driving scenarios. You’ll need to show smooth, safe, and professional control throughout the drive, with particular attention to hazard awareness, observation, positioning, and passenger safety.

Passing requires no serious or dangerous faults and no more than nine minor errors.
