I provide calm, structured automatic driving lessons as a DVSA Approved
Driving Instructor and former DVSA Driving Examiner.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, feeling nervous about learning to drive,
returning after a break or already have some driving experience, I will adapt
your lessons to your ability and individual development needs.
My aim is not simply to teach you how to pass a driving test.
It is to help you become a safe, confident and independent driver.

Standard lessons are two hours, giving you enough time to settle into the
lesson, develop new skills, practise them properly and review your progress
without the session feeling rushed.
I structure your lessons around your individual needs rather than following
exactly the same lesson plan for every pupil.
I provide regular automatic driving lessons across Pontefract and nearby areas
including Castleford, Knottingley, Featherstone, Ackworth and Ferrybridge.

More Than Learning to Pass a Test
Passing your practical driving test is an important goal, but I believe good
driving tuition should prepare you for much more than test day.
I will encourage you to understand how and why things are done, recognise what
is happening around you, learn from mistakes and gradually make more of your own
driving decisions.
My objective is to help you develop the judgement and independence you will
need when there is no driving instructor sitting beside you.

on a practical driving test - but I don’t design lessons around simply trying
