Structured two-hour lessons designed around your individual development
I provide automatic driving tuition only.
Learning in an automatic car removes the need to operate a clutch and
manually change gears, allowing you to concentrate more of your attention
on observation, planning, road position, speed, decision-making and dealing
safely with other road users.
But choosing an automatic car does not remove the need to learn properly.
The aim remains the same: to become a safe, confident and independent driver.
Lesson Structure
Two-Hour Driving Lessons
I provide standard tuition in two-hour lessons.
A two-hour lesson provides time to revisit previous learning, develop new
skills, practise them in different situations and review what has been
achieved.
Rather than rushing from one topic to another, the additional time allows
your learning to develop properly.
I don’t expect you to learn in exactly the same way or at exactly the same
speed as somebody else.
I will adapt your lessons according to your existing experience, confidence,
understanding and progress.
Some skills may develop quickly. Others may need more time and practice.
That is normal.

Understanding Your Driving
Learn the How and Why
Good driving is not a collection of tricks to remember on your practical test.
I want you to understand why you are taking a particular position, why your
speed is appropriate, what you are looking for and how the information around
you affects the decisions you make.
That understanding is what allows you to deal safely with situations you
haven’t practised before.
