I do not want you simply memorising instructions.
I want you to understand the reasons behind safe driving.
That means discussing what you can see, what might happen next, what risks
are developing and why one course of action may be safer than another.
As your understanding develops, you should need progressively less input
from me.
Eventually, the decisions are yours.
That is what becoming an independent driver means.
